Range Rover SV Ultra Debuts as Invite-Only Flagship With Electrostatic Sound and V8 or PHEV Power

The launch showcases tech-led luxury through a multi-sensory cabin, signaling Range Rover’s next step toward full electrification later in 2026.

Overview

  • Land Rover introduced the Range Rover SV Ultra as the highest-spec, invite-only trim above SV with bespoke materials and exclusive Titan Silver paint.
  • The SUV features an SV Electrostatic Sound system that uses 21 thin-film transducers placed in seats, headrests and other cabin surfaces to deliver fast, low-distortion audio.
  • The audio pairs with Body and Soul Seats and a Sensory Floor that deliver haptic feedback and six wellness modes such as Relaxation and Focus.
  • The P540 option uses a BMW-sourced 4.4L V8 rated at up to 537 bhp and 750 Nm for a 0–100 km/h time of 4.9 seconds and a 261 km/h top speed.
  • The P550e plug-in hybrid targets about 90 km of electric-only range, with a fully electric SV Ultra slated for later in 2026.
