Ramaphosa Arrives in Switzerland for State Visit, With Cultural and Mediation Pacts Set for Signing

Talks will advance investment, science cooperation and a youth skills agenda.

Overview

President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived in Switzerland on 28 October for a two-day State Visit at the invitation of President Karin Keller-Sutter.
Official talks on 29 October will cover a range of bilateral issues that include the G20 Presidency.
The visit includes the signing of a cooperation agreement in arts, culture and heritage and a letter of intent on peace mediation and democracy resilience.
Switzerland will hand over heritage artefacts of the Nkuna Royal Family to the South African government.
On 30 October the two leaders will visit an industrial firm in eastern Switzerland and a vocational school, with Ramaphosa also meeting Swiss business leaders.
