Railways Clears Final Location Survey for 14 km Jirania–Bodhjungnagar Link

Overview

• The Ministry of Railways sanctioned a final location survey for a proposed rail line connecting Jirania rail yard to Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex in West Tripura.
• The Northeast Frontier Railway said the survey is estimated at Rs 42 lakh and will cover a 14 km stretch.
• NFR’s CPRO said engineers will examine terrain, soil conditions, bridge needs and related design parameters, then submit a report to the ministry.
