Overview
- RailTel will deliver the Jabalpur Division project under EPC mode within 960 days, covering survey, design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning.
- The scope includes Kavach equipment at stations, level crossings and intermediate block locations plus optical fibre works, tower erection and associated civil, track and electrical works.
- The coverage spans high‑density routes in West Central Railway such as Itarsi–Manikpur, Mahdeiya–Bina Malkheri–Mahadeokheri, the Katni complex, Bina Malkheri–Agasod, Satna–Rewa, Kaima–Sagma and Bansapahar–Ohan.
- RailTel remains engaged on two additional Kavach projects totaling 1,109 route km on East Central Railway, underscoring the programme’s expanding footprint.
- Pune Division reports parallel progress with non‑signalling trials completed on over 295 km, Phase‑II installations finished at Padhegaon, Belapur and Rahuri, 53 of 123 telecom towers erected, and four WAP‑7 locomotives fitted with Loco Kavach in November 2025.
