  • A naming-rights deal announced Monday makes the 16-turn, 3.4-mile layout the Qualcomm Circuit, the first NASCAR track built inside an active U.S. Navy installation.
  • Construction is set to start in late May, with NASCAR San Diego Weekend running June 19–21 and the Cup Series Anduril 250 closing the tripleheader on Sunday, June 21.
  • Access plans reserve Friday as a Navy Community Day for personnel and select Coronado residents, with general ticket holders allowed on base Saturday and Sunday.
  • Qualcomm and NASCAR plan Wi‑Fi 7 throughout the venue for fans and operations, plus a Snapdragon-powered camera vantage point for the TV broadcast.
  • The course weaves local tributes into its design and now includes a new kink at Turn 12 and a chicane before Turn 16 to create more passing and tighten racing lines.
