Pyth Network Launches 24/7 Indices for U.S. Equities, Oil and Metals

Pyth's indices supply exchanges a continuous reference price needed to settle perpetual contracts.

Overview

  • Pyth announced on June 10, 2026 that Pyth Indices are live as a commercial product offering round-the-clock pricing for U.S. equities, gold, silver, WTI and Brent crude oil.
  • The initial product set includes single-asset indices for large-cap stocks such as Nvidia and Apple plus thematic baskets like AI10, Defense10, China10 and Tech100.
  • Pyth co-developed equity index futures with MarketVector and published index methodologies so the indices can be licensed for derivatives settlement, ETFs and white-label partner builds.
  • Early users including Coinbase, Kraken, dYdX and Nado are already using the indices to power live products, with Kraken citing the feed as the continuous benchmark needed to launch oil perpetuals.
  • Pyth builds the indices by aggregating price feeds from more than 135 exchanges, trading firms and market makers to give always-on markets a single, auditable price layer that could speed the rollout of perpetual contracts, tokenized assets and new ETF/ETP products.
