Overview
- The fire was reported around 8:38 pm Monday at the Professional TVS Showroom and Service Centre on Bund Garden Road in Tarabaug.
- Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus contained the blaze in about 30 minutes, followed by cooling operations.
- Nearly 60 two-wheelers were gutted, spanning petrol and electric models that were new or in for repairs.
- Electrical wiring, machinery, batteries, spare parts, computers, furniture, and documents were also destroyed.
- Pune City Police and MSEDCL supported crews as tenders from Naidu and Yerwada stations and a water tanker responded, and one man was rescued for smoke inhalation with no deaths reported.
