Pune Teen Killed Over Suspected Pigeon Theft, Four Brothers Arrested

  • Four brothers — Gaurav Vijaykumar Majhi, 22; Sachin, 23; Monu, 26; and Bunty, 18 — were arrested, and investigators are examining whether more people were involved.
  • Officials said the accused later took Rupesh to a nearby hospital claiming an accident, the family alleged he was tied and brutally beaten, and inquiries continue into conflicting accounts and the broader pattern of pigeon-related disputes in Pune.
