Overview
- The Municipality of Puán confirmed that Friday 5 June 2026 will be an administrative non-working day for the town's 150th anniversary, closing municipal offices and some Banco Provincia branches.
- The measure mainly applies to public-sector workers and covered bank staff while private employers may choose to grant the day off to their employees.
- Officials published a program of public events for the day that includes outdoor activities, concerts, cultural proposals and historical meetings expected to draw residents and visitors.
- The local asueto does not change the national feriado calendar because Law 27.399 preserves certain dates as fixed, so the national holiday on 20 June will remain on its calendar date.
- With 20 June fixed by law and the Güemes holiday trasladable, the only national extended weekend in mid-June will be 13–15 June, and Puán's local break could produce short-term economic and tourism activity specific to the town.
