Overview
- Player auction will replace the draft for PSL 11 after the league announced a shift in its player acquisition system.
- Teams may retain up to four players, limited to one per category, with mentor, brand ambassador and right-to-match provisions abolished.
- New franchises will be allowed to choose four players from the available pool before the auction, and every team can make one direct signing of a foreign player who did not feature in PSL 10.
- The player salary purse has been raised to USD 1.6 million per franchise to support higher remuneration and attract talent.
- PSL 11 starts on March 26 with matches in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Faisalabad, where Iqbal Stadium will host PSL games for the first time.
