Overview
- ProSieben announced on Monday that the second Promi Padel WM will air in primetime on Saturday, 21 November 2026 at Arena Oberhausen.
- Steven Gätjen will return as main host and will be joined by Elmar Paulke and Jerry Vsan while production remains with i&u Studios in partnership with PadelCity.
- The format has been scaled up to ten teams (20 celebrities), tickets are already on sale and ProSieben confirmed the broadcast will also be available via the Joyn streaming service.
- ProSieben's decision follows a modest 2025 premiere that averaged about 590,000 viewers but delivered a strong 9.4% market share in the 14–49 demographic, driving a strategy of refinement and scaling rather than cancellation.
- The inaugural show featured several injuries and late withdrawals, including Mats Hummels and Lena Gercke, so organizers will likely tighten participant selection and on-site medical and training measures for the new edition.
