Prosecutors Seek Seizure of 141 More Properties Tied to Cristina Kirchner in Vialidad Case

The request follows missed deadlines to pay a 684.99 billion–peso reparation ordered in the corruption verdict.

Overview

  • Fiscals Diego Luciani and Sergio Mola asked Federal Oral Court No. 2 to order confiscation of 141 additional properties linked to Cristina Fernández de Kirchner and Lázaro Báez.
  • With the new filing, the assets targeted for enforcement rise to 252 properties, expanding an earlier batch already under execution.
  • The list includes the Buenos Aires apartment at San José 1111 where the former president serves house arrest, plus the La Aldea hotel in El Chaltén and multiple Báez holdings in Ayres de Pilar and Pinamar.
  • The prosecutors also seek 46 vehicles and funds such as US$4.664 million in a safety deposit box attributed to Florencia Kirchner, US$992,134 in a Banco Galicia account, and 53,280.24 pesos.
  • The court must now decide whether to advance these seizures; a prior group of 111 properties was executed and sent to the Supreme Court for administration and final disposition.
