- At Winchester Crown Court, prosecutors said messages show Danny Cahalane owed Ryan “Frost” Kennedy about £120,000 over drug dealings and gambling losses.

- Paris Wilson, Cahalane’s ex-wife, is accused of helping to set up the ambush and of sending a text wishing acid on him, and she denies all charges.
- Prosecutors say an attempted kidnapping on 19 January 2025 preceded the fatal 21 February home invasion in which two men threw sulphuric acid and stabbed Cahalane; he died on 3 May after 10 weeks in hospital.
