Overview
- Participating community pubs are pouring a complimentary drink for people named George, Georgia or similar, with valid ID required, on St George's Day.
- The rollout covers 80 venues in the North West, including Liverpool sites such as the Railway Hotel, the Queens Arms and the Prince George Hotel.
- A further 27 pubs in the West Midlands are listed, with venues spanning towns and cities across the region.
- Examples in the West Midlands include the Leopard in Burton upon Trent, the Sovereign in Coventry, the Castle in Dudley and the Golden Fleece in Hereford.
- The promotion is run by Proper Pubs, the community division of Admiral Taverns, which operates more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
