Overview
- On 11 November, the Princess of Wales will observe the two-minute silence at 11 a.m. and lay a wreath at the Armed Forces Memorial in Staffordshire.
- The service will feature a new poem by Poet in Residence Arji Manuelpillai alongside performances by Talent in the Ranks and the a cappella group Black Voices.
- Following the ceremony, she will view newly inscribed names on the memorial before meeting veterans who attend the service.
- She will also speak with secondary school pupils from military families whose parents are currently deployed.
- The visit includes the Letters from the Frontline – Words, War and Victory exhibition, produced with BBC radio stations across the Midlands, as part of the wider Remembrance weekend involving senior royals.
