- The Royal Household announced the tour on June 9, confirming Princess Anne and her husband Sir Tim Laurence will travel from July 13 to July 17 for three days in South Korea followed by two days in Thailand.
- In South Korea the programme centres on the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Imjin River and will include commemorative events to honour British servicemen who fought in the Korean War.
