Prime Video Renews Invincible for Season 6 and Adds Jack Quaid to Season 5 Cast

The Annecy Studio Focus Panel framed the moves as part of Prime Video's push to expand animation by securing franchise longevity and new creative talent.

Overview

  • Prime Video announced at its Annecy Studio Focus Panel that Invincible has been renewed for a sixth season and that Jack Quaid will voice the character Gravitator/Chris in Season 5.
  • The renewal was confirmed by co-showrunner Robert Kirkman and Prime Video head of animation Melissa Wolfe at the panel in Annecy, with Kirkman also sharing a first look image of Quaid’s character.
  • Panel participants provided concrete release dates for other titles, including Batman: Caped Crusader Season 2 on July 31 and the first part of Helluva Boss Season 3 on October 14.
  • Prime Video also outlined multiple projects in development, naming Conan the Barbarian (working title) from Cartoon Network Studios along with Wytches, Lore Olympus, and Odd Jobs as part of its expanding slate.
  • The early renewal and casting signal steadier multi-season commitments for creators and should make Invincible one of Prime Video’s longest-running animated series while helping the streamer recruit more high-profile talent.
