Overview
- Christopher Moran, 57, pleaded guilty to 10 thefts at Preston Magistrates’ Court on November 27.
- Magistrates imposed a 12-week custody term to run concurrently with a separate 52-week prison sentence he is already serving.
- The five-year Criminal Behaviour Order bans him from all UK stores of Tesco, Co-op, Sainsbury’s, B&M, TK Maxx, Booths, Iceland and Trespass.
- He is also barred from Preston Marina, Navigation Way and the mapped Penwortham exclusion zone.
- The order requires him to leave retail premises immediately if asked and to return any selected stock, with police describing CBOs as a tool to deter repeat offending by “demand generators.”
