- She concluded the five-day Madhya Pradesh tour on Monday after travelling from Jabalpur to Gwalior and then by helicopter to Kuno National Park.
- At Kuno she toured the Cheetah Command and Control Centre and was briefed by forest officials on monitoring, tracking systems and reintroduction achievements.
- The President met local stakeholders including members of the Sahariya tribe, specially trained volunteer ‘Cheetah Mitras’, cheetah trackers, tourist guides and the Kuno field team.
- Officials gave a progress briefing on Project Cheetah, which began bringing cheetahs to Kuno in 2022 and has since received further animals from southern Africa and recorded captive births in India.
