Overview
- The Premier League will publish the full 2026/27 fixture list on Friday 19 June 2026 at 10:00am via its website and app, and the season will start the weekend of 22 August 2026 and finish on Sunday 30 May 2027.
- The schedule is built around 33 weekend rounds and five midweek rounds, will keep simultaneous kick-offs for all ten final-day matches, and retains a 60-hour spacing rule over the Christmas and New Year period to limit fixture congestion.
- The later start and the 30 May finish were scheduled to give players more recovery time after the 2026 FIFA World Cup and to sit one week before the UEFA Champions League final on 5 June 2027.
- Several companion changes have been widely reported but remain pending formal ratification, including a summer transfer window running from 15 June to 1 September, a merged late-September international window, and a proposed ban on gambling front-of-shirt sponsors.
- Broadcasters will make televised kick-off selections after the fixture release, a process that can move match times and affect club planning, player travel and commercial revenues as teams and supporters prepare for the adjusted calendar.
