Porto and Lazio Open Talks to Sign Milan Striker Santiago Giménez

Milan is demanding a loan that carries an obligation to buy to secure a guaranteed sale and raise transfer funds.

FC Porto have held direct contact with Milan about Giménez and have offered a loan with an option to buy as their opening proposal.
Lazio have also approached Milan but are reported to be able to afford only a dry loan without a purchase clause.

Super-agent Jorge Mendes is coordinating negotiations and Porto coach Francesco Farioli has offered Giménez a key role, with Porto also motivated by injury concerns to their striker.
Giménez joined Milan in January 2025 for roughly €30.2m, has struggled for form after an ankle operation and now faces reduced playing time following Milan’s signing of Gonçalo Ramos, making an exit likely if clubs meet Milan’s financial terms.
