Portillo’s Launches Five New Sauces Nationwide With Perks-First Flight, $25 Valentine’s Deal

A loyalty-first Sauce Flight aims to boost Perks engagement through a staged rollout.

  • Portillo’s introduced five dipping sauces across all restaurants on Jan. 27, including a brand-new Comeback Sauce.
  • Comeback Sauce is a creamy, tangy blend with black pepper, garlic and paprika, named to celebrate the Chicago Bears’ record comebacks.
  • Four sauces were reformulated based on guest feedback: BBQ (tangy, sweet, smoky heat), Buttermilk Ranch (richer, herby), Honey Mustard (Dijon–yellow blend with honey and lemon) and Hot Giardiniera (creamy, spicy).
  • Through Feb. 3, Portillo’s Perks members can buy the Sauce Flight for $0.99 with crispy chicken tenders or $1.99 a la carte at kiosks, with broad availability starting Feb. 4 while supplies last.
  • A Red Hot Meal Deal priced at $25 runs Feb. 12–15 and includes eight chicken tenders, two small fries in a heart-shaped tin, a large chocolate covered strawberry shake with two straws, the Sauce Flight and a heart-shaped keychain.
