Overview
- Porsche, Disney and Pixar announced a trio of bespoke 911s inspired by Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie, set to appear on the Toy Story 5 red carpet in Los Angeles.
- Each car was built on the standard Zuffenhausen line and then hand-finished by Porsche’s Sonderwunsch team, the brand’s one-off customization program.
- The three vehicles will not go to showrooms and will be sold together in a charity auction, with beneficiaries and auction details yet to be named.
- Pixar production designer Bob Pauley said the builds aim to express each character through materials, color and form rather than literal graphics.
- This collaboration follows the 2022 “Sally Special” 911 that sold for $3.6 million, a result outlets now use as a benchmark for the new trio’s potential value.
