Overview
- Under Plan +Provincia 2026–2027 line 3, the province approved €1,000,000 to fund 96 temporary municipal contracts across seven concellos to reinforce local services.
- More than €720,000 was also approved under lines 1 and 2 to support investment and current expenditure in five municipalities.
- The II Plan Extra earmarks over €15.5 million for works in 24 concellos, mobilizing nearly €22 million in projects, with ratification scheduled at the March 27 provincial pleno.
- Across the province, the II Plan Extra is set to benefit 57 municipalities with close to €37 million for strategic initiatives with territorial impact.
- Project highlights include Poio receiving €230,000 for 23 hires and €340,000 for wastewater pumping upgrades at A Seca and Porto Campelo, Sanxenxo receiving €254,000 for 26 jobs, and Vilaboa receiving €77,000 to pave the main road in Barciela.
