Overview

- During the chase, the driver activated the ambulance’s lights and siren but could not move through gridlock because there was no shoulder.
- Officers used the vehicle description to find it on the southbound Tri-State near Ogden by Hinsdale and surrounded it.
- Police removed the driver, rescued the EMT, reported no injuries, and left the ambulance on the shoulder as the investigation continues.
