Overview
- A 26-year-old Caboolture man died when his Honda was struck head-on by a white Isuzu truck traveling against northbound traffic near Burpengary.
- The 46-year-old truck driver from Redcliffe suffered critical head, neck and pelvic injuries and remains in a life-threatening condition at RBWH.
- Investigators say the truck appeared to travel the wrong way for about a kilometre at excessive speed, with entry believed to be near Norman Road.
- Police have located a Ford Ranger on Magnesium Street in Narangba suspected of following the truck, and a Narangba man is assisting inquiries.
