Overview
- Officers were called around 8.40pm on Tuesday, March 17, after reports that two people attacked a 15-year-old on Croxteth Drive near Sefton Park.
- The teenager sustained wounds to his head and legs and remains in a stable condition at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
- A police cordon and forensic work have covered part of Croxteth Drive near St Hilda’s High School, and a footpath linking to Ullet Road was taped off.
- Merseyside Police say no arrests have been made as enquiries continue under Detective Inspector Natalie Charlesworth.
- Volunteers at Sefton Park Community Centre assisted the injured boy before emergency services arrived, and St Hilda’s stayed open although its staff car park fell inside the cordon.
