  • Authorities allege the spree began about 12:15am at a Ryansbrook farming property with the theft of a Nissan Patrol.
  • Police say the Patrol was abandoned before a Toyota Hilux was allegedly stolen and rammed into the Hi-Way Sales and Service on Albany Highway.
  • Albany detectives charged the 28-year-old with six offences, including two counts of trespass, two of stealing a motor vehicle, burglary and stealing.
  • Kojonup volunteer fire crews attended after the flames were out, the man was arrested nearby a short time later, and police urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
