Police Release CCTV Images in Hunt for Suspect Linked to £23,000 Boots Thefts

The force is asking shoppers to help identify a man believed to have targeted five branches in repeated raids.

  • Detectives believe the same suspect carried out at least 14 thefts from Boots stores across Leeds, Bradford and Kirklees, with goods worth about £23,000 taken.
  • Stores reported multiple hits at the same sites, including four incidents at Birstall Shopping Park worth more than £4,400 and four at Savins Mill Way, Kirkstall totalling over £5,600.
  • Two thefts at Guiseley Retail Park exceeded £2,000, three at Thorpe Park topped £4,000, and an Ilkley Brook Street raid on February 22 involved skincare worth more than £2,750.
  • Information can also be shared anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, which allows people to pass on tips without giving their name.
