Officers used the truck’s satellite tracker and coordinated tactical and investigative units to seize the vehicle and hand suspects to judicial authorities for forensic work.

Overview

  • Officers from the Grupo Táctico Operativo and the Police of the City intercepted the truck at Seguí and Ricardo Rojas, arrested two people identified as Alan Nicolás Cardozo and Daniela Avelina Rodríguez, and seized the vehicle and the phone.
  • By court order of Criminal and Correctional Court No. 51, the detainees and the recovered SUV were turned over to the Police of the City for peritos and continued investigation on charges of aggravated robbery for use of a firearm.
  • The case highlights how satellite tracking, CMU camera analysis, bodycam and drone footage can speed recovery and evidence collection, and it is now with the local fiscalía for prosecution and further forensics.
