Overview
- Northumbria Police are investigating two home collisions, one in Throckley just before 11:45pm Monday and another in Beacon Lough at about 12:50am Tuesday.
- In Gateshead’s Beacon Lough, a vehicle hit the front of a terraced house and caused structural damage, leaving residents shaken but not seriously hurt.
- In Throckley, a car reversed into a property on The Crescent and then drove off, with no injuries reported by emergency services.
- Officers cordoned both areas, conducted door-to-door inquiries, and asked the public for information or footage citing references NP-20260505-0042 and NP-20260504-1210.
- Police said the two incidents are not believed to be linked as efforts to trace the occupants continue in both neighborhoods.
