Overview
- West Midlands Police were called shortly before 12:55 pm on 19 December to The Radleys on Sheldon Heath Road after reports of a disorder with weapons.
- Witnesses described two men fighting, seeing a firearm and hearing shots as people took cover.
- Greggs employees locked the doors, lowered shutters and moved customers, including parents with babies, into a back room for safety.
- No arrests have been made, and officers say inquiries are ongoing to identify those involved.
- Police urged anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident 2463 of 19 December or contact Crimestoppers, and the ambulance service was not called to the scene.
