Overview
- Two vehicles were set alight in Kirkcaldy at 3:05 am and 3:25 am on November 13 at Lawson Gardens and Haig Avenue.
- Police Scotland is treating the incidents as linked wilful fire-raising and asks anyone with information to call 101 quoting incident 0292 of November 13, 2025.
- Scottish Fire and Rescue crews extinguished the blazes and reported no casualties after responding in the early hours.
- Separately, officers renewed an appeal over an October 6 Larkhall arson that damaged four cars, with CCTV and doorbell or dash-cam footage under review and reference 0086 of October 6, 2025.
- The latest attacks are being reported against a backdrop of previous vehicle arson in nearby Glenrothes in June–July 2024 that destroyed six cars, a caravan and 13 garages.
