- West Mercia Police formally identified the deceased as Andzie “Stan” Stanik, 62, a long-serving bin collector and father of three.
- The driver, 50, and a second passenger, 47, were airlifted to hospital and remain in a stable condition with injuries not thought to be life-threatening.
- The refuse vehicle struck an unoccupied building at the Mill Street and Bridge Street junction shortly after 6:40am, causing significant structural damage.
