Police Launch National Search for Two Missing Everton Teenagers

Bedfordshire Police say the girls may be travelling together and have links to multiple UK cities, widening the inquiry.

Overview

  • The two girls, Scarlet (16) and Daisy (14) from Everton, were last seen shortly after 1am on Friday, May 29, and are now the subject of a missing-persons investigation led by Bedfordshire Police.
  • Scarlet is described as white, about 5ft 5ins with dyed black hair and was last seen in grey joggers and a grey jumper while Daisy is described as white, about 5ft 6ins with light brown shoulder-length hair and was last seen in pink pyjamas.
  • Police say the pair are believed to be together and have known links to a number of areas across England including Manchester, Birmingham, Coventry, London, Liverpool and Bristol, which has prompted a wider, multi-force search.
  • Bedfordshire Police have published photos and descriptions and asked anyone with information to report online, via webchat, or by calling 101 and quoting reference MPC/905/26 for Scarlet and MPC/904/26 for Daisy.
  • The force is coordinating information nationally to speed up checks at transport hubs and with other police teams, and authorities are asking local communities and travellers to check CCTV and social media for sightings to aid a safe return.
