- A dispute inside the Glenolden Walmart near the self-checkout led to a man firing between five and ten shots, one of which struck a female employee in the calf on Friday, July 31.
- Darby Township Police have named Armani Tyrell Waite as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and weapons offenses.
- Police say Waite fled the scene before officers arrived and that the injured employee was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening wounds and is expected to be OK.
