Police Identify 67-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck Crossing Liberty Road

Police have opened a crash-team investigation after identifying the victim as Loretta Pretlow.

Officers responded around 6:15–6:20 p.m. Saturday to Liberty Road at Forest Hill Road in Baltimore County for a pedestrian crash.
Loretta Pretlow, 67, was found in cardiac arrest, transported to a nearby hospital, and later pronounced dead.
A preliminary review indicates she was struck while crossing by a 2004 Acura RDX traveling westbound.
The driver and four passengers were not injured and remained at the scene, according to police.
The Baltimore County Police Crash Team is investigating, and officials stress the findings released so far are preliminary.
