Police Hunt Man After Alleged Sexual Assault of Two Boys in Portage Park Store Bathroom

Police released a surveillance image with a detailed physical description to prompt public tips identifying the suspect.

  • Chicago police say the incident occurred on Friday around 1:30 p.m. inside the DD’s Discount Store restroom on the 3900 block of North Cicero Avenue.
  • Officers allege a man followed two boys into the bathroom, fondled himself while one child was in a stall and touched the other child before both boys left when another person entered.
  • The Special Investigations Unit released a surveillance photo and described the suspect as about 25 to 30 years old, short black hair, roughly 180–200 pounds, wearing glasses, large headphones, a light-colored T-shirt, black shorts and black gym shoes.
