Police Hunt Injured Van Occupants After M6 Hit-and-Run That Left Baby Seriously Hurt

Investigators urge witnesses with dashcam or CCTV to share footage with Lancashire Police.

  • Lancashire Police are searching for the driver and passenger who fled after a crash on the M6 northbound Junction 29 slip road at Bamber Bridge at about 4:25pm on Friday, February 13.
  • A white Ford Transit collided with three stationary vehicles, reported as a HGV and two cars.
  • A baby who was a passenger in one of the cars remains in hospital with serious injuries.
  • Officers say the two men from the Transit are believed to have sustained serious injuries and are urged to come forward.
