Overview
- Trisha Graf was last seen driving in Andamooka on December 12, 2025, and her white 2012 Ford Territory was later found abandoned near Blue Dam.
- Police launched the renewed operation on Monday to drain Blue Dam and scour roughly 1,000 disused mine shafts east toward Lake Torrens using major-crime investigators, STAR Group, mounted teams and SES personnel.
- Authorities declared the case a major crime in January and have carried out repeated ground and aerial searches, diver searches, septic-tank and residence searches, inspection-camera probes of shafts, and a forensic examination of a seized vehicle without finding conclusive evidence.
- Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke said Graf’s disappearance is out of character and police have pledged to pursue every lead while operating in hazardous, remote opal-mining terrain that complicates searches and has at times been disrupted by weather.
- Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers online or on 1800 333 000 to provide anonymous tips and said they will provide updates as the dam draining and shaft searches progress.
