Police Confirm Drone Strike Killed Pakistan Army Captain at Khyber Check Post

Local police said Captain Abbas Khan was killed and Sepoy Farhan was injured at a security post in the Akakhel Mumandai area of Bara tehsil, Khyber district.
Security forces cordoned off the site, imposed a high alert, and opened an investigation that includes tracking the drone’s launch direction.
Funeral prayers for Captain Khan were held in Peshawar, attended by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi and senior civil and military officials.
Earlier accounts citing unnamed sources reported three dead, four injured, and a Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan role using an explosive quadcopter, but those details remain unconfirmed for the Khyber incident.
In a separate incident a day later, police said TTP used a quadcopter to fire projectiles at the Federal Constabulary headquarters gate in Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan, killing Havaldar Amjad and injuring two others.
