Overview
- Policía Nacional says it seized an additional 80 kilograms of cocaine, two firearms and 117 rounds in Valencia to close a final investigative line of Operation Diana.
- Operation Diana began in April 2025 and earlier phases produced 51 arrests, 242 kg of cocaine, other drugs, more than €554,000 in cash, gold bars, multiple firearms and 36 vehicles after 39 nationwide searches.
- The Guardia Civil's Operation Tikras led to six arrests for about thirty alleged offenses including 20 burglaries, nine vehicle thefts or uses, drug trafficking and weapons possession, with four suspects ordered to pretrial detention and two released on charges.
- Authorities recovered a range of weapons and concealment tools across both probes, including a pen-pistol, an unregistered short firearm, prohibited knives, hidden vehicle compartments and assorted ammunition and drug quantities.
- Both cases have been judicialized at local courts, signaling continued prosecutions, and the combined seizures and detentions are expected to disrupt regional drug distribution and the vehicle-enabled robbery networks that affected communities in La Safor.
