Police Bust Clandestine Mephedrone Labs in Gujarat and Rajasthan

Police now probe cross-state supply lines after arrests and seizures.

In Bharuch district, Gujarat, the SOG arrested 33-year-old Anil Rakholiya and seized 74.88 grams of mephedrone valued at about Rs 2.24 lakh.
Officers said Rakholiya used his BSc in Chemistry and industry experience to run a bathroom lab reportedly active for six months.
In Pratapgarh, Rajasthan, a Hathuniya police team raided a farm hut and recovered about 1.897 kg of MD worth roughly Rs 1.60 crore.
Two men were arrested in the Rajasthan case as two suspects escaped, and police seized a loaded pistol, five cartridges, and trafficking vehicles.
NDPS cases have been registered and investigators are tracing raw-material sources, customers, and alleged links to Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.
