Police Allege Inside Job in Arnie Case as Owner Is Charged

Investigators say the ute was not unlawfully taken after evidence showed it was left in Fortitude Valley the night before the discovery.

  • McKeown has been charged with one count of breach of duty of care of an animal and is due to appear in court next month; police said his partner believed the vehicle had been stolen.
