Overview
- The Pakistan Meteorological Department said Karachi will see partly cloudy, humid conditions with possible light drizzle and reported current readings of 28.4°C, 75% humidity and 15 km/h winds.
- Most districts of Balochistan are expected to stay dry and very hot, with some locations such as Sibi and Nokundi reaching about 45°C.
- Lahore is facing severe heat and humidity with a current temperature of 36°C, a daytime maximum near 40°C and feels-like temperatures between 43°C and 47°C.
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa should be largely hot and dry but the PMD forecasts isolated rain in parts of the Hazara and Malakand divisions.
- The PMD advised avoiding unnecessary sun exposure, staying hydrated and taking precautions against heat sickness given the risk to public health and increased strain on local services.
