PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium August Lineup Begins Rolling Out

Regional split delays full access for US, UK and Japan, raising purchase urgency for titles scheduled to leave the service.

Overview

  • The rollout began Tuesday, August 18, with most regions receiving the first wave of August additions including Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Vampire Survivors.
  • Helldivers 2 is already available to Extra and Premium subscribers in all regions and the Premium tier also gained two Classics: Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis.
  • Subscribers in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan will get the remaining Extra titles one week later on August 25, including Hell Is Us, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash and Dying Light 2.
  • Sony is testing the staggered regional schedule and PlayStation Store updates—typically around local noon—determine the exact moment games appear in each territory.
  • A separate removals schedule means games that leave the catalog will stop being playable for subscribers unless purchased, so the split release shortens some players’ windows to buy departing titles and adds urgency to monitor store notices.
