PL Backs Flávio Bolsonaro as Polls Slide and Senator Admits Visit to Vorcaro

Fresh polling shows the allegations are eroding his support.

Overview

  • An AtlasIntel/Bloomberg survey released Tuesday reports that 51.7% see evidence of Flávio Bolsonaro’s direct involvement in the Banco Master case, his second‑round support fell six points to 41.8% against Lula’s 48.9%, and 64.1% say his bid was weakened.
  • After meeting party lawmakers Tuesday, PL leaders said there is no plan B for the presidential race, and Flávio acknowledged requesting funds for the film Dark Horse and visiting Daniel Vorcaro after the banker’s first arrest, while denying any illegal conduct.
  • Rival legal moves followed the polling: the PL asked the electoral court to suspend the AtlasIntel survey over alleged bias, and PT deputy Lindbergh Farias urged the Supreme Court and federal police to add Flávio and Jair Bolsonaro to related probes and to impose asset and travel restrictions.
  • Seeking to contain the fallout, Flávio said he ordered a full accounting of the film’s financing within 30 days and pledged to leave any recovered proceeds available for authorities to act under the law.
  • The controversy stems from Intercept Brasil’s report that Flávio sought US$24 million from Vorcaro for the film and that US$10.6 million were routed in early 2025, set against Banco Master’s March 2026 collapse after federal raids and arrests of Vorcaro and associates.
