- Police say Colbert was struck near Linden Street and Francis Avenue between 11:33 and 11:49 p.m. Tuesday, and the driver fled.
- Investigators report Colbert became trapped under the vehicle and was dragged a lengthy distance, coming to rest near 1350 West Housatonic Street by a Best Western.
- The vehicle is believed to be a dark-colored sedan, possibly a Toyota or Honda, according to police.
