The bi-annual exchange strengthens interoperability by developing senior enlisted leaders.

Overview

  • Nearly 60 Colombian senior enlisted leaders wrapped the Florida segment Friday, March 20, alongside U.S. counterparts after a week of hands-on exchanges.
  • PISAJ is a U.S.-led, bi-annual program launched in 2015 that builds senior noncommissioned officer expertise to improve joint and combined operations.
  • Participants visited units including U.S. Air Forces Special Operations Command, U.S. Air Forces Southern, the 7th Special Forces Group, and the 6th Ranger Training Battalion.
  • Training highlights included close-quarters battle drills, an unmanned and counter‑UAS demonstration, an F‑35 showcase with a maintenance school tour, a military working dog demo, and weapons briefings.
  • Command Sgt. Maj. Eric Olsen said the modern battlefield has no borders, and the program now moves to Fort Benning, Georgia, for March 23–27 visits, training, and briefings.
