- Pirelli said at the SelectUSA Investment Summit on Wednesday that it will start making its connected Cyber Tyre at its Rome, Georgia plant.
- Cyber Tyre places sensors inside the tire that capture real-time data, which Pirelli software processes and feeds to the car’s electronics to enable new safety and control features.
- The Rome facility will be the first U.S. site for this system and already focuses on High Value and Motorsport tires with an on-site research and development center.
